1. What is the difference between anti-wrinkle injections and dermal fillers? 

Anti-wrinkle injections relax the muscles that cause fine lines and wrinkles, whilst dermal fillers restore volume, add contour and enhance facial features, like lips or cheeks.

We offer personalised consultations to assess your skin and discuss your goals. Based on this, we’ll recommend the most suitable treatments for you needs. 

3. Is it painful?

Most treatments involve minimal discomfrt. We use techniques to make your experience as comfortable as possible, such as numbing cream for dermal fillers. 

4. How long do results last? 

This depends on the treatment: 

  • Anti-wrinkle treatments 3-4 months
  • Dermal fillers 6-18 months
  • Microneedling results improve over time and with regular sessions

5. Are the treatments safe? 

All treatments are performed by a qualified and experienced medical professional. We prioritise safety, using high-quality products and following strict hygiene protocols. 

6. What the potential side effects? 

Side effects are usually mild and temporary, such as slight redness, swelling or bruising at the treatment site. These typically resolve within a few days. During your consultation, we’ll discuss any risks and aftercare advice in detail. 

7. Can anyone get these treatments? 

We’ll conduct a full consultation and medical assessment to determine your suitability for treatment. Some treatments may not be suitable for pregnant or breastfeeding individuals or those with certain medical conditions. 

Before and After Care

8. How should I prepare for my treatment? 

We will provide specific instructions during your consultation, but general tips include: 

  • Ensure your skin is clean and free of makeup for the appointment
  • Avoid alcohol, aspirin or ibuprofen (if not prescribed/ recommended by a health professional) 24-48 hours before treatment to reduce risk of bruising

9. What aftercare is required? 

Aftercare varies by treatment and will be discussed in further detail during consultation/ appointment but it often includes: 

  • Avoid touching or massaging the treated area
  • Avoid strenuous exercise, alcohol and excessive heat for 48 hours
  • Apply SPF daily to protect your skin
